.Hack Month.

On my Facebook I noted I would reveiw Star ocean along with some other games but, I had forgot that a new .Hack game would be coming out the end of June. I’ll be reviewing the anime and games leading up to the new game .hack versus.

Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance

This will be the 1st Kingdom Herts for the 3DS. My 1st opinion to the title was that they were trolling us by saying Kingdom Hearts 3D. To my surprise the trailers I have seen made me completely rethink the game and the 3DS all together. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zlex8ja2eNI This 8 minute trailer is what made me co completely change my opinion. Today a few Voice actors tweeted that they have finished their section of the game. Two of the known voice actors are Vincent Corazza and Jesse David Corti.

The story is connected to 358/2, birth by sleep and recoded. From the trailers my guess it’s the 358/2 world more. 1 of the returning character is axel. Little is known about what part he will play. In Japan the game is release March 29th. The date haven’t been set for America but rumors and patterns strongly suggest june or july.

Now everyone is looking for Kingdom Hearts 3 but on nurmerous sources it is stated that after Final Fantasy XIII Verses work will begin. I also Personally believe The hand held versions will see it’s time on the ps3 within a few years as Not everyone has a DS, 3DS or a psp.

Nexon’s Failing Hard

A few weeks ago Nexon’s game server for Maplestory, a popular MMO was the target of many hacks that cause the server to be unstable and shut down constantly. Nexon replied by saying this, “To give you some insight on the causes, I can share that we experienced a combination of network instability as well as an increase in malicious attempts to take down our systems.”  http://maplestory.nexon.net/News/News.aspx?boardNo=100&contentNo=00Dcq&pageIndex=1

Nexon has gotten much distress from it’s gamers has a few servers have still been having connectivity issues. Also problems like this have occurred before on numerous circumstances. One being where most of the east coast couldn’t log in or experienced a lag every 15 seconds, another one besides a server attack were the ID still logged on or under maintenance. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mGmSbp4tUUw Using my other youtube account I made a video of my personal experience.

Nexon has tried to cover up themselves with a “Gamer Safety Week: Tips for Protecting Your Account” crap.

Here is the list

• Never give out your account information. Nexon will never ask you for your personal information, such as your account password. No duh.
• Update your Nexon account password regularly. This is your first line of defense! Choose something that is easy for you to remember but hard for others to guess. Only works when your server isn’t getting hacked and/or leaking our info.
• Always use additional account security options. Remember, the secondary security questions, Verify with Facebook, and in-game second passwords or PINs/PICs provide an extra layer of protection. FACEBOOK! That is the only thing less secure then your site. I advise all users to DO NOT Verify with Facebook.
• Be wary of third party sites and offers. If something sounds too good to be true, it probably is! Phishing sites may use URLs similar to the official Nexon site or may promise free NX. It’s almost always a scam to steal your account information. Make sure you are on the official Nexon site before logging in. Of course thats common info there bud.
• Report suspicious activity. You can submit a ticket at any time through our Customer Support portal to alert us of malicious player activity. I got nothing to say here.

Controversy and Modern Warfare 3

Shortly after the new Call of Duty came out there has been controversy over the fact a child dies in a cut scene in the game. http://www.gamepro.com/article/news/224636/modern-warfare-3s-child-killing-controversy/ is where you can see the cut scene. The real fact of the matter is there is no real proof she died. she may have been critically injured and later rescued. The sadder fact is, it’s a rate M game meaning you need to be 17/18 to buy. My question is, Is there really controversy or people just complaining
